Pig iron Motorcycle Performance Inc. was established in 2002.After years of riding, with bikes he'd had to keep alive, jim opened the doors at Pig Iron in the spring of 2002. An accident in 2000 had ended his carrier in tattooing and it was time to move on. Bikes and stocking the things that keep them alive was the natural choice. "Chrome don't get you home" could be the unofficial motto at this no nonsense shop. from oil to a full line of gaskets you'll find what you need to insure the long life of your iron sled. Times have changed and changed again, walking around the low pressure sales-room is like a walk back in time. Sure you'll find the parts you need for your Evolution® even Twin Cam®, but stocking the shelves are those little items one needs when babying your Pan or Shovelhead. Points, Flyweights, 4 speed clutch hubs and so much more can be found. A full line of parts can be custom ordered as well, from that shiny new chrome cover to a cable tube for a drum brake. Though specializing in American motorcycle, a full line of foreign parts is available.

Jim offers a range of services for American made motorcycles: from a simple oil or tire change to power train maintenance and modifications. He also can do light services on metric bikes: many oil filters are in stock and he can order in tires within days.

Convenient to find

The shop is on the Buffalo/Cheektowaga border in New York. Take the Harlem rd. exit south off off Route 33. Then a right on Genesee st. the shop is .8 miles down on the right side (at the corner of Erb st.)
